Aluminum electrolytic capacitors, often referred to as electrolytic capacitors, are electrical components with leads which consist of aluminum dielectric deoxidized foil anodes, with surfaces coated with a thin layer of activated aluminum oxide, and electrolyte impregnated paper covered cathode foils. These components have very good anodic characteristics and can be used in both grid and switching type power supply applications. TVX2V100MCD is a type of aluminum electrolytic capacitor specifically designed for applications where high temperature and long-term reliability are paramount.TVX2V100MCD capacitors are designed with special construction to provide robustness, long-term reliability and high voltage durability under diverse working environment. The case material of TVX2V100MCD capacitors is composed of an aluminum outer case and an interior insulation layer. A special anode foil construction is used in TVX2V100MCD capacitors to ensure low inductance and large dielectric strength. The anode foil is made of aluminum dielectric deoxidized foil, a surface coating of an activated aluminum oxide layer and an interior electrolyte impregnated paper covered cathode foil. This combination of materials enables TVX2V100MCD capacitors to perform very well in high temperature, low maintenance applications.The working principle of TVX2V100MCD capacitors is the same as other aluminum electrolytic capacitors. Voltage is applied to the anode and the cathode of the capacitor. When the voltage is applied, current flows across the oxide layer and the cathode, resulting in a charge imbalance which creates a potential difference between the two terminals. This charge imbalance creates a dielectric field in the capacitor, which stores the excess charge until the external voltage is removed.TVX2V100MCD capacitors are especially suitable for applications where high temperature and long-term reliability are required. They are often used in power supplies, as well as in other power conversion and energy storage solutions.
