The amplifier operates at a current level, allowing the device to directly drive high-side N-channel MOSFETs with adjustable gate thresholds, making it suitable for low side gate drive applications.The UCC5618QP consists of a differential amplifier, a high-gain current mirror, and a gate drive output stage with a current limit switch. The differential amplifier has an input range between 0.2V - 7V, and the high-gain current mirror has an open-loop gain of greater than 150. The output stage, which contains the current limit switch, has a peak current limit of 3A and a max voltage of 16V.The UCC5618QP is an easy to use, robust and efficient signal termination solution.
