Aluminum electrolytic capacitors are passive components comprised of aluminum foil with an oxide layer, wound together with separator paper. This combination is rolled and placed in a cylindrical can that serves as an enclosure. The construction of aluminum electrolytic capacitors provides for a high capacitance per volume, ranging from low to very high capacitance which makes them ideal for a variety of applications. The UHV1C102MPD6 capacitor is a type of aluminum electrolytic capacitor that is available in the market.
