UPM1C392MHD6TN is an aluminum-based radial-leaded capacitor with nominal capacitance of 2.2uF and working voltage of 2.2V. Its rated ripple current can reach up to 40mA and its rated temperature range is -55℃-105℃. In terms of its performance, its ESR is low to ensure a high SMD/THD ratio, LTPD is low when compared with similar products so as to reduce AC noise, and its PCB area is small which is beneficial for reducing process cost. All these make UPM1C392MHD6TN suitable for high-volume consumer electronics products.UPM1C392MHD6TN has applications in power supply circuit, energy-saving lighting circuit and DC/DC converter circuit. In the power supply circuit, UPM1C392MHD6TN can be used in conjunction with high efficiency rectifier to form an ideal rectifier filter network. The capacitor will be charged and discharged during the cycle of AC power supply, so as to reduce harmonic wave and improve the waveform of power supply. In the energy-saving lighting circuit, UPM1C392MHD6TN acts as a filtering device for rectifier. The capacitor has a low ESR so as to reduce circuit loss. Aluminium electrolytic capacitor is housed in an aluminium can with sealed or open bottom. The anode of the capacitor is connected to the bottom in sealed bottom type and to the side in open bottom type. The anode consists of aluminium foil, distributor, paper and electrolyte while the cathode consists of oil-impregnated paper and the connector.The working principle of UPM1C392MHD6TN is based on Faraday\'s law of electrolysis. When the AC voltage is applied, the achieved capacitive current charges the capacitor according to the polarity of the voltage. Whereas when the voltage decreases, the current across the capacitor decreases as well and it discharges. When the AC voltage is zero, the capacitor will fully discharge and its dielectric constant will increase due to the electrolyte.
