The UWS1A471MCL1GS features three electrical characteristics of great importance to its performance. These include a surge voltage of up to 6 times its rated voltage, a temperature range of -40 to +105 deg.C, and a capacitance of 47μF. The surge voltage allows the capacitor to withstand large voltage spikes without being damaged, while the wide temperature range allows it to perform reliably in most environments.
