The XC09-038NSI is a monolithic IC designed for use in low power radio communication applications. It is available in a small 4-pin SOT-233 package and has a wide operating temperature range.The XC09-038NSI is a RF transceiver module that integrates all the core components of a low-power radio transceiver in a tiny four-pin package. The integrated components include a near-field Magneto-Induction (NI) transceiver on-chip to provide low power radio-frequency (RF) communication with other XC09-038NSI modules; an on-chip analog-to-digital converter (ADC) to monitor the NI transceiver’s input and output signals; an optimized data modulation and demodulation algorithm to significantly improve data rate and range performance; and a low-voltage power management circuit (PMC) to ensure the low power consumption of the module. The module operates in the Sub-GHz ISM band (900-920MHz) and is capable of transmitting and receiving data at up to 200Kbps for a range up to 200m. The integrated on-chip analog-to-digital converter (ADC) allows for a wide range of VHF/UHF radio signals, making it ideal for wireless sensor networks and applications that require long range performance. An onboard microcontroller and enhanced power management circuit (PMC) allow for the integration of multiple XC09-038NSI modules in a variety of topologies to create a wireless mesh network.The XC09-038NSI module is designed to operate as a fully integrated system, with all the core components included in a single 4-pin SOT-233 package. The integrated components allow for a relatively easy implementation of a complete radio transceiver, significantly reducing the time to design and implement a low-power radio system.The XC09-038NSI is designed to be highly integrated and power efficient: the radio transceiver and supporting components are designed to consume only 2mW in standby mode while allowing for high data rate performance when communicating over the Sub-GHz ISM band. The optimized data modulation and demodulation algorithms are capable of transmitting and receiving at speeds of up to 200Kbps over a range of up to 200m, enabling fast and reliable wireless transmissions.The XC09-038NSI module also offers advanced power management features, including an energy harvesting system that allows the module to take advantage of ambient energy sources for extended wireless operation.
