Working Principle
XC6121D547MR-G is composed of an error amplifier, comparator, voltage reference and Oscillator formed the output stage. Then these components work together to provide the specific output.
The power to the circuit is supplied by an input voltage source and the output voltage is regulated to the designed voltage value. The output voltage is compared with a reference voltage, or feedback voltage. Then the error amplifier detects the output voltage difference between it and the programmed reference voltage. Once an error is detected, the compensation is done to keep the output voltage. This loop regulates the reference voltage and the output voltage to be equivalent.
The oscillator helps the circuit to run stably by making the output status at a continuous switch-mode cycle. The output voltage accuracy is obtained by the voltage reference. To prevent any over-voltage and over-current, built-in protections are added to the system.
XC6121D547MR-G also features adjustable output voltage, temperature protection, current limiting, input over voltage protection and short circuit protection.
