Working Principle

The XP0431N00L is a pre-biased, three-transistor package containing three individual BJT bi-polar transistors. Each of the three transistors is biased to 400V by the internal DC voltage regulator. This allows the transistors to have a common base and dramatically reduce the CMR between transistors. The XP0431N00L also features an ESD protection circuit, which helps prevent the transistors from being damaged due to electrostatic discharge.

The three transistors are connected in an NPN configuration, which provides gain and high frequency performance. The NPN configuration consists of an emitter which provides an output voltage, a collector which provides a feedback voltage to adjust the gain, and a base which controls the current in the device.
