Among them, TRS1-100 MLR00V is one of the most commonly used mechanical thermostats. It can be applied in various temperature monitoring systems, such as domestic heating systems, industrial heat treatments, and agricultural refrigeration control.The TRS1-100 MLR00V combines two basic components to operate: a bimetal coil and a lever system. The bimetal coil is composed of two sheets of different materials attached together. When the coil is exposed to a change in temperature, the two sheets expand at different rates, hence causing a movement in the lever system and activating a set of switches.The thermostat has two pre-set opening and closing temperatures. As the temperature rises above the pre-set “close temperature”, the thermostat will indicate “closed” by switching on and operating a mechanical device. As the temperature drops below the pre-set “open temperature”, the thermostat will indicate “open” by switching off the mechanical device.The TRS1-100 MLR00V is designed with superior safety features and high accuracy. The stainless steel material used has excellent mechanical strength and durability which adds to its operational longevity. The thermostat is equipped with adjustable setpoints and finder pins for easy set-up. The dual contacts remain silent while normal operation is maintained but in case of an over-temperature situation, an audible ping is triggered to notify the user. In addition, the TRS1-100 MLR00V has broad applications and can be used in all kinds of temperature monitoring systems. It can be connected to water course pumps, boilers, heat exchangers, air conditioners, radiators, and furnaces to assure optimal temperature control. Moreover, the thermostat can be used as part of an autotune system and is compliant with all standard NTC thermistor, thermocouple and RTD temperature sensors.
