1. Describe

6. Function description

The DRV5053PAEDBZTQ1 output stage is capable of sourcing up to 300μA or sinking 2.3mA. For proper operation, ensure that the equivalent output load ROUT > 10 kΩ. The capacitive load present directly on the OUT pin should be less than 10 nF to ensure internal operation The amplifier is stable. If adding an external RC filter to reduce noise, a ≥ 200 Ω resistor and ≤ 0.1 µF capacitor can be used. An analog current limit circuit limits the current through the output driver. The driver current will be clamped to the IOCP analog current limit circuit limiting the current through the FET. The driver current is clamped to IOCP. During this clamping, the rDS(on) of the output FET increases from the nominal value. The DRV5053-Q1 device operates at DC VCC rated up to 38 V and can also tolerate VCC = 40 V. This protection does not require a current-limiting series resistor.
