Rectangular connectors, more commonly referred to as Headers, Male Pins, are used to connect two or more components in a machine or other device. This type of connector is made up of a series of pins, or contacts, that fit into a connector body. This connector type is typically used in industries such as automotive, robotics, home automation, medical, security, and many others. The most common form of rectangular connector is the male pin, or ‘male header’.
