Application Field

Working Principle

When an overload current or short-circuit current flows through the fuse, the fuse wire heats up due to the Joule heat generated by the current itself. The heat is quickly transmitted to the fuse body, and the fuse body temperature rises rapidly, causing the fuse to melt and open the circuit quickly and reliably.

0154.500DRT series fuses have a built-in high-sensitivity one-time over-temperature element. When the fuse body temperature reaches 130 °C, the temperature element will start working, and the fuse will trip in time to protect the circuit from being damaged by the high temperature.
