The 02015J1R2ABSTR is an ultra-thin capacitor with a thickness of only 0.8mm and a footprint of 2.5mm by 2.0mm. This capacitor has a capacitance range between 2.2pF and 10nF. It is made with a semiconductor oxide–thick film hybrid technique. The oxide layer is deposited over a thin sensing resistor layer which is then covered with another oxide layer. This combination provides the capacitor with highReliability, high breakdown voltage and low parasitic inductance. When the capacitor is operational, electric charges accumulate on the two oxide layers, creating an electric field between them. This electric field is inversely proportional to the capacitance value, which means that the capacitance increases when the electric field decreases. The amount of charge that can be stored in the capacitor is determined by the amount of voltage applied to each layer.Conclusion
