0314.750M application field and working principle

Application Field

Structure and Working Principle

The 0314.750M is a cylindrical fuse of a plug-in type with a glass case and a male connector. Its core consists of a suspension structure combining silver spoons with resistive wires. The fuse also includes a high temperature ceramic tube containing a silver-coated brazing material. All components are sealed in the arc-quenched tube, and a stainless steel contact is secured in the terminal.

The 0314.750M fuse is designed to break the circuit when the current flowing inside reaches a predefined value, thus protecting the circuit from damages due to overload or short circuits. When an overload or a short circuit occurs, the resistive wires melt and the silver spoons separate, shutting off the circuit. The silver-coated brazing material resists the high temperature formed when the current flows and reacts with the ceramic tube, breaking the circuit.
