Working Principle

031506.3H fuses use standard 6 mm x 32 mm construction with the 3H class rating and are easily identified by their red and white plastic body. When an electrical overload or short-circuit occurs, a metal strip embedded in the fuse melts, breaking the circuit and preventing further flow of electrical current. A melted fuse indicates the need for replacing it with the correct rating.
