Flat Flexible Connectors (FFC, FPC) are an incredibly varied and useful technology used in many architectures in the electronics world.
Some of the common applications seen in everyday devices are constructing cable assemblies, providing interconnecting contacts and making electrical connections in multimedia equipment, as well as supplying power and signal to external devices such as external hard drive enclosures and USB hub systems.
