0662-100HXSL is a fast-acting, very low impedance, re-settable, glass tube fuse encapsulated in a plastic case. It is mostly used in the application of low actuating current and medium-high voltage, or power applications requiring an inverse time-delay action. It is suitable for use in a wide range of applications, including AC switching power supplies, communications systems, industrial control systems, uninterruptible power supplies (UPSs), UPS systems for power source transformation, induction heating systems, PV (solar power systems) or other DC applications.Working Principles of the Fuse
When a fault occurs on an electrical circuit, the electricity flows through the metal filaments inside the fuse. As the current flows, it creates heat, thus triggering the heating of the metal filaments, which in turn expands until the circuit is broken.
