Working Principle

The 0678H9300-02 operates in much the same way as other standard fuses. It does this by subjecting the circuit to a low-resistive curve called the Power Cycling Resistance (PCR). This type of fuse works within a resistance range that is lower than the standard PTC/fuse but higher than the Low-Let-Through (LLT) fuse. When the current level in the protected circuit goes above the rating of the 0678H9300-02, it will trip, thus disconnecting the circuit from the power supply and protecting it from a potentially damaging over-voltage situation.
