These connectors provide protection from physical stress, dust ingress, moisture or conductive contamination, Harsh temperature or corrosive environment, impact or vibration.
Working Principle
The 0741640010 rectangular connectors use 2-lane (plug and socket) connector technology and are connected using the positive mating or contact-pin principle. A plug pin terminal at one end is inserted into an eyelet at the other end until the eyelet slides along the terminal\'s grooves and locks the connections. The terminals are made of spring steel providing reliable contact between the eyelet and plug pin. The eyelets also have a locking grub screw to lock the plug pin together with the eyelet. This ensures a robust connection.
