Headers, Receptacles, Female Sockets

Rectangular connectors, like 0791077217, are widely used within wide scope of various product applications due to their easy installation, dense packaging, multiple terminals, and finger-proof protection. The working of a header and receptacle assembly is linear, with the plastic housing acting as an insulator. The pins, usually made of brass with gold plating helps to maintain a secure contact, and protect from oxidation. In addition, the latching system maintains a secure connection, and even shocks or vibrations do not cause disconnection. Overall, rectangular connectors are a reliable form of interconnection, and with the wide range of products available, they can suit almost any application.
