The body of the 0901471330 connector is constructed out of injection-molded plastic and the contact terminal is a tin-plated copper alloy. It has a low insertion and extraction force of 6 and 8N, respectively, and a high terminal retention force of 8.4N. Electrical current rating for this connector is 5A with a recommended AC/DC voltage of 50. The operating temperature range is -40°C - +105°C.

At the front of the connector, a set of male pins reside in 2 rows of a right-angle design. The unique angled design allows for the connections to be easy to access but also creates greater retention strength when mated with the female socket.The pins have a downward force to prevent them from being pulled out when in use. There is also a rubber seal located on the mating side of the connector that helps prevent any fluid from entering the housing and causing electrical failure.
