Additional features of the D-Sub connectors include dust cover, tongue and groove, and terminations such as screw, spring-clip, and crimp terminals. The term “D-Sub” can also be used to refer to a connector with specific wire-guides or tab stops which are used to properly align a signal or connector when in use.
