D-Sub, D-Shaped Connectors - Contacts

D-sub connectors, also known as D-shaped connectors, are components used to establish a connection between two separate pieces of equipment. Most commonly found in the form of male and female pins, the D-type connectors are used to connect cable conductors, transfer and route data, and reliably carry electrical current between two separate sources.
