The 10-580902-18Y is an accessory used with circular connectors. This part mounts the connector to the panel/ chassis and provides two grounding devices to ensure proper electrical contact is established and maintained.

This circular connector accessory is a four-piece item: a backshell, two grounding devices and a washer. It is made using polyamide 6/6 (PA 6/6) thermoplastic material, and nickel-plated steel. It is available in black color as default, but other colors can be requested.

The 10-580902-18Y requires two nuts to secure the connector into the panel/chassis. The two provided grounding devices attach to the connector shell giving a secure and reliable grounding. It is designed to fit 28.8 mm circular connectors, and the acceptable mated connector insertion series for this particular part is 580902, 580903, 580904, 580905 and 580906.

The 10-580902-18Y has a working temperature range between -40°C and +120°C and a working frequency between 0 and 125 Hz. It is impermeable, so has a waterproof rating of IP67 and RoHS 2 compliant.
