100LET Application Field

100LET Working Principle
The working principle of the 100LET Fuse is based on the meltable alloy element inside the fuse. When an overload current passes through the fuse, it creates heat that melts the alloy element, which causes an open circuit and thus a fuse to blow. The fused element is made from a thin metal strip with two ends protruding from opposite sides of the fuse and connected to both terminal inputs of the circuit. An electric current will flow across the element, heating the metal strip. If the current is too high, the metal strip will melt, interrupting the current flow and breaking the circuit.
When the 100LET Fuse is overloaded, its metal element will start to overheat and melt. The melting temperature of the fuse element varies according to its speed rating.
