The evaluation board also contains a STM32F415RGH6 32-bit microcontroller as the main microcontroller, which will process the data received from the accelerometer and store the data in the internal RAM. The RAM of the microcontroller is used for reading and writing data from the accelerometer and for communication between the microcontroller and the device drivers. With the presence of onboard USB FS interface, the microcontroller is able to communicate with the host PC for data transfer and debugging purposes.

The evaluation board comes with a range of useful features. The board provides debugging support with on-board JTAG connector and board can be powered by external USB power supply or battery. The board has a dedicated flash memory which stores the program code and data. A pair of LEDs is available for debugging purposes.
