- The 102156-4 offers a full compliment of standard and speciality headers for use in a variety of applications.

- The 102156-4 high-performance headers provide superior performance in the most demanding applications such as power distribution, signal integrity, interference protection and thermal/thermal transfer.
- The specialized headers provide added features such as shielding, grounding, pull-tabs and other features.
- Working Principle
- The 102156-4 header connector features a two-part construction, which consists of a rectangular base and an array of pins. The pins are arranged in an array of rows and columns, typically 2x6, 2x8, 3x4, 3x6, 3x8 or 4x6.
- The pins are inserted into the rectangular base, which creates a secure connection. The pins are inserted through the rectangular base, and then held in place by means of a locking mechanism such as a spring clip or lever.
- The locking mechanism ensures the pins remain in place, even when subjected to vibrations or shock.
- The base of the header connector also serves as an insulator, preventing any electrical current from flowing between the pins and creating a short circuit.
