Fixed Inductors

Fixed inductors, also known as choke coils, are theoretically passive elements that introduce inductance to block a continuous flow of direct current (DC) while allowing an alternating current (AC) to pass, while also providing a path of low resistance for the AC current. The main components of the fixed inductors are inductors, windings and a magnetic core. This type of inductor is most commonly used for signal filtering applications and as components in radio frequency (RF) circuits.

103-122K Application Field and Working Principle
