- Application Fields
- The 103-182HS fixed power inductor is widely used in home appliances such as AC/DC converters, power supplies, chargers, etc. This device is also used in other portable electronic devices, such as bluetooth speakers, wearables, healthcare, and other smart devices.
- Working Principle
- The 103-182HS comprises two inductors with a capacitor connected in series between their terminals. An AC signal enters the device from one end and is split and travels in both directions around the inductor-capacitor network. The inductive impedance of the two inductors serve to reduce the ripple current that results from the AC signal. The capacitor between the inductors compensates the inductive reactance of the two inductors and provides a low impedance path for the AC signal.
- The two inductors of the 103-182HS have a high magnetic permeability which allows them to store energy in the form of magnetism. This energy is then released in the form of a current, providing a smoother flow of current.
