11306 Terminals - Turret Connectors
11306 terminals are commonly referred to as turret terminals, as they feature two round spring pins, or turrets, that fit into a matching hollow in the shell of the connector. The two turret pins are connected to the mating wire via a clamping action, which allows the connection to withstand considerable physical and environmental stresses. These terminals are designed for use in electronics, telecommunications, automotive, medical, mil-spec and consumer applications requiring reliable and dependable contact integrity under a variety of temperatures, humidity and corrosive factors.
Applications

Working Principle
The turret terminals are designed to hold two concentric spring pins, connected to a mating wire via a clamping action, which locks the pin in place and prevents it from slipping out of its location. The turret contact pins can handle a wide range of current and voltage ratings (up to 10A at 250 VAC) and temperatures (typically -55°C to +125°C). 11306 terminal connectors are available in two basic varieties, wire-to-board and wire-to-cable.
