Fixed inductors, such as the 1210-822K, are used to store energy in the form of a magnetic field. Once induced, this energy is then able to be released to perform different desired functions, such as regulating voltage, filtering frequencies, and supporting current. Commonly found in power supplies, amplifiers, filters, and radio frequency equipment, fixed inductors are a vital component of any electronic circuit.
The 1210-822K is a surface-mount device that consists of an inductor mounted to the surface of a printed circuit board (PCB). To properly function, this fixed inductor needs to be printed on both sides of the board so that its leads can be properly connected and torqued. Often found in high temperatures, 1210-822K is designed to withstand industrial environments with its corrosion-resistant design.
The 1210-822K inductor is able to store and transfer the energy will through its core material. It features an aluminium alloy core with a copper-clad winding, which gives it the capacity to conduct electricity. This core is then sealed in an epoxy material, such as glass-fiber, to protect the inductor from vibration, corrosion, and high temperatures. Once sealed, the energy is able to travel efficiently in and out of the winding, creating the magnetic field.
The 1210-822K also includes a ferrite capacitor, which helps to reduce noise in the circuit. Its magnetic core allows for high signal-to-noise ratios, which is especially important when dealing with high-definition audio. This is why the 1210-822K inductor is often found in speakers and other sound-based equipment.
In terms of its working principle, the 1210-822K inductor is able to accept ac or dc inputs. When the two circuits are connected, an electric current passes through the inductor\'s windings, that then creates a magnetic field.
