Temperature sensors have become an essential component for monitoring and regulating industrial and domestic production and services. The 123-802EAJ-P01 is a negative temperature coefficient (NTC) thermistor which is designed for use in measuring temperature in HVAC systems, medical applications and process control systems. The 123-802EAJ-P01 features a large operating temperature range of -40 to 105°C and a fast response time of 0.5 to 1 second. The thermistor is hermetically sealed in a stainless steel body, which eliminates the need for separate protective measures such as insulation.

The 123-802EAJ-P01 operates on a two-wire connection system. Power is applied to the thermistor from the control system, and the thermistor measures the change in resistance as a result of a change in temperature. This is then measured and converted into a meaningful temperature measurement by a control system.
