125NC Fuses

The 125NC series of electric fuse is a fast-acting, non-current-limiting fuse specially designed and built for low-voltage applications, notably those involving motor control. The 125NC series of electric fuse is composed of special grade ferrous or non-ferrous components and is predominantly designed to operate at low temperatures. Until recently, the 125NC series of fuse was only available in 12/600A models with ratings up to 40A. However, increased demand in the market now makes 125NC fuse models available up to 250A.

The 125NC fuse is more frequently used in motor control circuits and other low-voltage applications which might require regular overcurrent protection. It is especially beneficial for those applications involving motors where the effects of an abrupt shut-down to prevent overloading can be highly damaging. The 125NC fuse is sufficiently fast-acting to prevent damage by providing short-circuit protection, yet at the same time can be slow enough to handle momentary overloads.
