Working Principle
The 145-0701-612 is a radially symmetrical leaky coaxial connector, also known as a leaky feeder. The basic structure consists of a metal shell, a coaxial band, a dielectric layer and an inner terminal. The inner conductor is a center contact, which is connected to a cylindrical metal sleeve. The inner conductor is connected to the innermost part of the outer conductor, and the metal sleeve is connected to the surface of the outer conductor. The outer conductor is connected to the metal shell, thus forming a coaxial connector. The electromagnetic wave energy entering the 145-0701-612 propagates outward through the axial channel and the radial channels provided by the coaxial cage. This leakage of the energy in the radial direction provides the desired function of increasing the signal level in the horizontal plane.
