A twist-lock terminal consists of an outer casing and an inner sleeve. Die-cast terminals are made out of metal and provide a more secure connection than other types of terminals. The metal casing fits tightly around the wire, and can be held in place with a locking clip or nut. The metal casing ensures that the electric current is flowing correctly and also provides better insulation from outside interference.
