Fixed inductors are most commonly used in industrial and commercial electronic applications. The 1534C series of fixed inductors are a type of product which are specifically designed for a range of different applications, including power supplies, DC-DC converters, low power switching, and modulator applications. In addition, the 1534C inductors can be used as a building block for many various types of current-induced oscillator circuits. The 1534C series of fixed inductors is a highly cost efficient, performance-driven solution in comparison to traditional off-the-shelf inductors.

The 1534C fixed inductors are designed for use in the range of 0.25 to 0.5 amp applications in order to provide an optimal level of performance. Unlike traditional inductors, the 1534C inductors are designed with a series of windings that are constructed from a thin layer of epoxy, which allows for minimum power loss. This thin layer of epoxy also helps improve the inductor’s heat dissipation, enabling the inductor to operate at a much lower temperature than other inductors. Additionally, since the 1534C inductor does not contain any ferrite material, it is completely immune to electromagnetically-induced stresses.

In terms of working principle, the 1534C fixed inductors are designed to function by translating the anode to cathode voltage or current into a desired level of resistance. This magnetic resistance is achieved through a process known as “self-induction”, which is the fundamental way in which inductors work. Through this process, the electrical current flowing through an inductor induces an electromotive force in the coil, which is eventually transferred to the core of the coil. As such, as the voltage or current across the inductor reverse its polarity, the magnetic field associated with the coil goes through a phase reversal, which causes the coil’s resistance to decrease.

The 1534C inductors are typically made from a high-grade ceramic core material and are designed with a coil that is in the shape of a U. This helps to ensure that the inductive impedance of the component will remain consistent over a wide range of temperatures and frequencies. Additionally, the U-shape of the coil helps to reduce the EMI radiation caused by the component, as well as improving power handling characteristics.

The 1534C inductors are an attractive solution for many electronic applications due to their high performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
