The 1571920-3 Toggle Switch is a three-position, double-pole switch designed for general purpose applications. Further, the switch can be wired in a three-position configuration, depending on the requirements of the circuit. In a three-position configuration, the switches will be wired in series with a common wire.
The 1571920-3 Toggle Switch has a single-pole, double-throw design. Its contact block contains a pair of NO contact blocks and a pair of NC contact blocks. The handle can be moved between three positions - "On", "Off" and "Neutral" - permitting a single-pole contact in each position.
