Rectangular Connectors - Arrays, Edge Type, Mezzanine (Board to Board)

Edge type connectors are designed to provide a reliable, low-profile connection and have contacts that are easily and securely locked into place.

Edge type connectors are typically used in computer systems and industrial control systems where a large number of signals need to be transferred. They are also commonly used in consumer electronics, medical devices, and automotive applications.

Mezzanine (Board to Board)

Mezzanine connector products are small but versatile rectangular connectors. Mezzanine connectors feature an array of contacts that are arranged in a grid pattern. The contacts are then soldered directly to the PCB. Compared to other connector technologies, mezzanine connectors offer advantages such as small form factor, high packing density, and the ability to route multiple signals over a single or multiple connector.

Mezzanine connectors are ideal for applications where small size and high packing density are important. Typically, mezzanine connectors are used in consumer electronics, telecommunications, and automotive applications.
