200-NWR, also known as Non-Wire Relay, is a cutting-edge technology in the field of LED indication that meets the challenges of increasing electrical density, fast response and high reliability. Following a long-term development effort integrating complex technologies, 200-NWR has become the first medium-power range Non-Wire Relay. It is designed to provide superior signal transmission performance and significant electrical and thermal advantages over existing medium-power signal transmission and signal conditioning solutions such as wire relays and integrated circuits. This medium-power range allows 200-NWR technology to be applied to a wide variety of signal conditioning applications including: mechanical switches and electromechanical relays, signal sequencing and timed protection, and more. Unlike traditional wire relay solutions, 200-NWR does not require complex mechanical switching mechanisms, which allows for more efficient signal transmission and greater reliability.

200-NWR uses discrete, high-performance LED technology in order to provide superior signal response and signal isolation performance. The LED optical technology used in 200-NWR consists of a small LED chip with a capacitive coupling circuit, mounted on a specialized PCB substrate. The LED chip is equipped with a high-efficiency focal length lens and a customized optics block that isolates the LED, allowing for an extremely efficient signal transfer. Simultaneously, the built-in capacitive coupling circuit provides superior signal isolation performance, eliminating noise arising from interactions with other signals while allowing the signal to travel at the highest possible speed. Furthermore, the onboard LED offers superior electrical isolation performance, providing superior reliability.

The working principle of 200-NWR is twofold. In the first step, LED light is emitted onto the substrate of the relay, where the capacitive coupling circuit captures the signal and converts it into an electrical signal. Following this, the output signal is sent to a specialized controller, which then activates the relay in response. The controller then evaluates the output from the relay and activates other components accordingly, allowing complete control over the signal path. This allows for greater potential for signal optimization. Finally, the 200-NWR provides superior thermal management, allowing for greater efficiency and increased reliability in the application.
