The 20SEF120M low equivalent series resistance (ESR) aluminum-polymer capacitor is a very powerful and versatile companion for purposes such as industrial, communication and renewables. The 20SEF120M low equivalent series resistance aluminum-polymer capacitor consists of two electrodes, an aluminum foil and a polymer film, each with very different electrical characteristics. The thin film of polymer on the aluminum combats the highest level of ESR for an aluminum electrodes capacitor, and increases the voltages of both cost and ripple current capability. Notably, aluminum-polymer capacitors of this type have very low resistance comparable to other similar components making them suitable for high frequency applications as well as most power electronics and EV circuit designs. The 20SEF120M working principle is comprised of two parts. The first part is the electrostatic absorption of the electric charges and the other part is the organic film electrolyte.
