LCD

LCD stands for Liquid Crystal Display. It is an electronic visual display that can show text, digits, and also basic graphical images. LCD displays are typically composed of two sheets of polarizing material, with a layer of liquid crystal molecules sandwiched in between. When a voltage is applied to the liquid crystals, they rotate and block light passing through. This blockage of light produces the dark text or images that appear on the display. OLED

OLED stands for Organic Light-Emitting Diode. It is an emerging type of display technology that is based on organic materials that produce visible light when electricity is applied. OLED displays offer a higher contrast ratio than LCD displays, meaning they can be viewed clearly in bright sunlight. OLED displays also have a wider viewing angle than LCDs and better response times, meaning they are suitable for applications that require high dynamic range and fast refresh rates, such as virtual reality and gaming applications.

OLED displays are used in a wide range of consumer and industrial applications, from consumer TVs to mobile phone displays. They are also used in military and aerospace applications, as well as medical and industrial instrumentation.

Graphic

Graphic displays are used for a variety of applications, such as navigation and navigation instruments, industrial instrumentation, vehicle and aircraft dashboards, signage, and kiosks. They are also used in digital video recording systems, medical instruments, and a variety of other display applications.

Graphic displays typically consist of a display and control board, along with an interface such as a serial cable, USB, or a wireless connection. Working Principle

The working principle of LCD, OLED and graphic displays is the same. In each type of display, a layer of liquid crystals, or pixels, rotates and blocks the transmission of light when a voltage is applied. This blockage of light produces the text and images that appear on the display.

For OLED displays, the organic materials used in the construction of the display emit light when electricity is applied. This allows for brighter and higher contrast images to be displayed on OLED screens.

Graphic displays require additional control circuitry. This circuitry translates digital signals into analog signals, allowing the image to be displayed on the screen.
