Sockets for ICs, Transistors

Sockets for Integrated Circuits (ICs) and transistors are used in a wide range of applications, from automotive and aerospace electronics to medical and scientific instruments. The environment in which the socket is going to be used must also be taken into account; for instance, some sockets may be designed to be moisture and corrosion-resistant, while others will be designed for high-temperature or vibration-resistant applications.
