The conductor, usually a wire or round wire, winds around the core. Applied current increases magnetic field strength, and the core amplifies the magnetic field and stores energy from the current, producing a strong inductance. The 2727R-17F is a fixed inductor specifically designed for power lines. The inductance is 17 μH and the rated current is 6.0A. The inductor has a low profile of only 1.3mm, allowing it to be used in tight spaces. Its temperature range is -55℃ to +105℃, and its maximum DC resistance is 0.53 Ω. All of its materials are RoHS compliant. Magnetic performance is excellent, with its max. Q greater than 4400, ensuring a high current carrying capacity.The 2727R-17F works based on Faraday’s Law of Induction. When current passes through the wire, the core produces a changing magnetic field, creating a secondary, opposite-direction current. When the magnetic field returns to its original polarity, this current will cut through, causing a feedback. This feedback creates an opposing magnetic field, electromotive force, or impediment, and essentially forms a magnetic cycle, allowing the coil to store energy.
