Working Principle of 3-390113-1 Inline Module Socket

The 3-390113-1 Inline Module Socket is an electrically passive device and operates on the simple principle of slip-in and slip-out. As such, any component with the right connector configuration and the corresponding number of pins, can be plugged into or removed from the socket, and be given access to its enclosed memory. This type of socket comes with a self-clean design that can maximize the contact reliability and minimize stuck contacts. The 3-390113-1 Inline Module Socket is usually supplied in a two-piece, snap-in arrangement that can easily be installed or removed.
