Coaxial Connectors (RF)

31-10-RFX is a coaxial RF connector which is widely applied in the X band communications and radar. It provides power and signal connections between two or more points of a circuit, and uses a minimum of space for mounting and interconnecting. The 31-10-RFX series typically consists of a center conductor that is surrounded by an insulating dielectric material, and a shield or ground conductor.

Application Field

31-10-RFX connectors are used in many different applications, including but not limited to: antennas, military, commercial, computer, commercial and industrial equipment, automotive radios, infotainment systems, two-way radios, communications and cable television. Apart from the above-mentioned applications, they are also used for general telecom applications, swapping signals between disparate equipment types, and gaining access to a device\'s interior to test, repair, or troubleshoot.

Working Principle

The working principle of the 31-10-RFX connector is based on the principle of impedance matching. By controlling the size ratio of the center conductor and the outside conductor, the standing wave ratio of the cable can be regulated to make sure that the signal always reflects back to the source point. In this way, the signal generated by the source is reflected perfectly, minimizing the attenuation due to transmission loss. The correct selection and matching of these connectors ensure the highest transfer of simulated power in the least amount of space. The 31-10-RFX connectors, together with the circuit layout, can keep the impedance of the circuit constant to ensure the signal transmission quality.
