3408-2603 headers are part of the rectangular connector family. These inch-based rectangular headers are molded in from a high grade polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and support a current rating at 10 amps and a temperature range of -20 degrees Celsius to +125 degrees Celsius. This type of header has two rows of two pins that are machined from phosphor bronze alloy material. The pins measure approximately 0.386 in (9.8 mm) long by 0.091 in (2.3 mm) wide at the tip. They are spaced 0.096 in (2.4 mm) apart.

These one-piece headers offer a dual contact design, which provides secure connection and positive locking at both ends of each terminal point. The dual connection is created by having the pins pressed into the base before the plastic mold is injected.
