The 41-ALP2-CWO Application Field and Working Principle are applicable to panel indicators, pilot lights, and any other related electrical applications. This type of module is designed to offer an integrated solution to power, signal, and control needs in an easy to install package. The 41-ALP2-CWO module consists of two separate LED circuits with approximately 5.5 W of operating power. This allows for greater flexibility in lighting configurations while still providing many of the same benefits as traditional wiring and power solutions.The working principle of the 41-ALP2-CWO Module is based on a Simple to Read and Solid State Design. The base plate is designed to support a wide variety of LED configurations such as multiple colors, different lens sizes and/or faces, and several switch/relay types. A standard 12 V DC power supply provides a single voltage line for the two separate LED circuits. Each LED circuit is independently powered and linked by a 3 ft. data line. This data line carries power and control signals between each circuit, so that each LED circuit can be independently activated.In a typical panel indicator or pilot light application, each separate LED circuit is connected to a different switch or relay. When one of the switches or relay contacts is pressed, the corresponding LED circuit is activated and will light up. The power to each LED circuit is monitored continuously and will only maintain power long enough for all LEDs within the circuit to reach their optimal output levels. This ensures that the LEDs will stay lit as long as the switch/relay remains in the “on” position.The 41-ALP2-CWO module has a wide variety of potential applications, both in commercial and residential environments.
