410-134P-KIT is an evaluation board for complex logic, such as FPGA and CPLD development. The board includes a working field created on top of an optional carrier board and includes an external power supply, configurable logic, and analog components.
The FPGA development board includes a modular structure that is suitable for creating a variety of logic solutions. It supports components like switches, LEDs, as well as modules such as voltage regulators, oscillators, and buffer circuits. The board is soldered with an underside VDDIO pin to support VCCIO connections in 1.2/2.5/3.3/5.0V & 5V-off options. In addition, the board features a reliable, low noise, high isolation single ended connection.
The CPLD development board has a SMD space for its chip set and an attached pin placement. It accommodates dual power rails of 1.2V and 3.3V, and features four configurable clock sources. As adding flexibility, the board features a 5V_OFF option to explore device logic at different voltage levels. In addition, the board is integrated with an on-board voltage regulator for current applications.
The board offers programmable logic users with an end-to-end development workflow. It supports integrated development environment (IDE) and IP blocks for complete system development. The IDE is integrated with FPGA/CPLD synthesizer, VHDL/Verilog compilers, and analysis tools. The board also comes with an optional user I/O connector for connecting to other external devices like sensors, switches, motors, and other peripherals.
The 410-134P-KIT allows users to validate non-volatile memory or configurable logic blocks. It supports configurable logic devices from many popular vendors like Xilinx, Altera, Lattice, and Actel. For example, users can use the board for developing Xilinx FPGA/CPLD based on Kintex-7 and Spartan series, as well as Altera FPGA/ CPLD based on Stratix and Arria series.
The board features a number of I/O connectors and external digital and analog components. The I/O port used for connecting the board with an external logic consists of 2×5 pins, which supports data, control, enable, output enable, and address signals. The externally connected components include clock generator, crystal oscillator, USB-UART, Vinput, I2C controller, and VDD_CORE voltage regulator.
The board-level DIP switches are used to select specific configurations for the on-board components. The configuration changes are also updated to the corresponding software running on the board. The board supports stand-alone programming for generating bitstream files. The downloaded bitstream is verified and stored to the flash with a microcontroller.
The 410-134P-KIT is an excellent evaluation and development tool for complex logic, including FPGA/CPLD. Its intuitive interface and comprehensive features makes it easy to configure, evaluate, and debug hardware logic modules for customized system designs. The board supports high level of environment, performance, and configurability. Furthermore, its modularity allows users to expand the board’s functionality with additional I/O connectors and other components.
