Working Principle

The 416F2601XAKT Balun Transformer consists of a pair of matched miniature ferrite core transformers and a Bias Tee capacitor. Each of the transformers consists of two windings, one of which is a centre-tapped winding. The DC bias applied across the two windings sets up a magnetic field which causes the transformer to transfer signals from one side to the other. The capacitance across the centre-tapped winding creates a low-pass filtering effect.
