416F40625ALT Crystals are crystals typically used to make high-precision oscillators and filters in operational amplifiers. The 416F40625ALT crystal is constructed with a quartz crystal element and its associated circuitry. This crystallized mass is then mounted inside a metal container with the pin connections coming out of the package. The quartz crystal element is made from a natural mineral and consists of three regions, the unit-cell at the centre, and two electrode layers that are placed on its linear faces. The unit cell consists of two cations and two anions, which share oxygen atoms as shown in the following diagram.
